Transfer to IU

Transferring to Immaculata is as Easy as 1-2-3!

Immaculata University is dedicated to providing attainable education, personal support, and meaningful career pathways to tomorrow’s leaders, and we welcome students who are seeking new challenges, new friends, and new approaches to student engagement as they transition from other colleges or universities. Empowering students to chart their own courses without getting lost in the crowd, IU provides students with opportunities to explore their career directions, assess their goals, and invigorate their life journeys.

What’s more, transferring to IU is truly as easy as 1-2-3! Prospective students simply:

  1. Apply
  2. Submit transcripts & other documents
  3. Attend new student orientation upon admission

Admitted students are matched with personal advisors who will assist in developing degree plans to meet individual needs. After admissions counselors review submitted transcripts, they work with students to review existing credits and outline which courses are needed for degree completion.

Learn more about transfer credit

Based on your area of study, you may transfer some or all of your previous college credits, normally up to 64 credits (semester hour equivalency). Credits for courses with a grade of “C” or higher are transferable.

Hundreds of courses have already been reviewed and approved. Find your college and courses on this list of institutions. Please note that this is not a complete list; we are continuing to add to the database regularly. If you do not find your institution or the course you are looking for, your credits may still transfer to Immaculata.

Finance and Business Management

I transferred to Immaculata during spring of my freshman year. The admissions team was so supportive throughout the whole transfer process, and I was able to transfer all my credits from my previous school and match them with courses in my new program. My biggest piece of advice to future transfers would be to get involved on campus and make those connections.
